What is Recipist?

Recipist helps you turn cooking videos into clean, easy-to-follow recipes using AI. It extracts ingredients, steps, and tags so you can get to cooking faster.

Do I need an account?

No. Recipist uses anonymous authentication, so you can use the app without creating an account or providing personal information.

Where is my data stored?

Recipe data (such as tags and generated recipes) is stored securely using Firebase. No personal information is collected.

Can I restore my subscription?

Yes. If you purchased a subscription, you can restore it using the Restore Purchases option in the app. Subscriptions are managed through the App Store.

Why isn’t a video working?

Some videos may not be supported or may fail to process due to format, availability, or quality issues. If a video fails, try another link or try again later.


Troubleshooting

  • App not working as expected
    Try restarting the app or updating to the latest version.

  • Subscription issues
    Make sure you’re signed into the same Apple ID used for the purchase, then use Restore Purchases.

  • Crashes or bugs
    Ensure you’re on the latest app version. If the issue persists, contact support.
