What is Quill?
Quill analyzes your existing Instagram captions to learn your writing style, then generates new captions that sound like you. It's for creators who want AI-assisted captions without losing their voice.
How does the voice profile work?
You select at least ten of your existing captions and Quill analyzes them to extract your tone, vocabulary, sentence patterns, emoji habits, hashtag style, and quirks. You then validate the profile through a calibration step where Quill generates test captions and asks if they sound like you.
Can I have multiple voice profiles?
Yes. You can create different profiles for different contexts — personal vs. brand, casual vs. professional — and switch between them when generating captions.
Does Quill post to Instagram for me?
No. Quill generates caption options for you to review. You copy, edit, and post them yourself.
Does Quill learn from my feedback?
Yes. When you select, edit, or discard generated captions, Quill logs those preferences and uses them to improve future generations.
What post types are supported?
You can generate captions for single posts, reels, carousels, and stories.
Troubleshooting

App not working as expected Try restarting the app or updating to the latest version.

Instagram not connecting Make sure you're using a valid Instagram account and that Quill has permission to access it. You can check connected apps in your Instagram settings.

Voice profile not generating Ensure you've selected at least ten captions for analysis. If the issue persists, try disconnecting and reconnecting your Instagram account.

Captions don't sound like me Go through the calibration step again and provide more feedback. The more generations you rate, the better Quill gets at matching your voice.

Crashes or bugs Ensure you're on the latest app version. If the issue persists, contact support.
