Huginn – Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Huginn (the "App"), developed by Didier Fuentes. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Use of the App
Huginn is a Gmail client for iOS that converts email content into audio using on-device text-to-speech. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.
You may manage your email queue, playback settings, and voice preferences within the App at any time.
Gmail Access
Huginn accesses your Gmail inbox via the Gmail REST API using OAuth 2.0. By signing in with your Google account, you authorize the App to read your email messages and modify labels (e.g., archiving). You can revoke this access at any time through your Google account settings.
Audio Generation Disclaimer
Audio generated by Huginn is created automatically using on-device text-to-speech and may not perfectly reproduce the content of every email. Formatting, embedded content, and complex HTML layouts may not translate accurately to audio. You are responsible for verifying important information by reading the original email.
User Content
The App accesses and caches your email data locally on your device. Huginn does not store your email content on external servers. You retain ownership of your email content at all times.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the App
- Abuse or overload the App or its services
Changes and Availability
We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable if the App or any feature becomes unavailable.
Limitation of Liability
Huginn is provided "as is" and "as available."
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Didier Fuentes is not liable for any damages resulting from:
- Inaccurate audio reproduction of email content
- Data loss or service interruptions
- Changes to Gmail API availability or access
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
